Yummie Tummie $100 gift certificate giveaway!

Several weeks ago I attended a preview event for the Yummie Tummie line. Designer Heather Thomson wanted to reach out to bloggers and other Internet savvy types because, as we all know, the world likes the Internet a lot. So, after my rainy work day in New York City I found myself splashing along 44th Street looking for the the Royalton Hotel. I made my way up to an incredibly cozy room, had a glass of champagne and got to meet Heather, who migh just be the nicest woman in America. I relaxed while she told me about the line.

Since then, I've had a chance to try out my Yummie Tummie tank with a bunch of different outfits. On nights out and just around the house. Playing on the floor with the baby, having a drink with my husband, grocery shopping. And the bottom line is this: I don't want to take it off. Ever. It makes my stomach perfectly flat. It makes my jeans fit better. It makes me feel really, really good.

I want to share the feeling with you guys! Well, ok, specifically with one of you. So I'm doing my first-ever giveaway. A $100 gift certificate you can use on the Yummie site to buy whatever you want.

I'll choose the winner by random selection. I know a lot of you too well to do it any other way ( "Well...so-and-so was around for moral support when I went on my first date in ninth grade..." ) but there is a catch. You're not getting away that easy, come on! In order to enter the contest, you must provide one sentence on why being a woman is awesome.

Too easy, you say? Of COURSE women are awesome? I challenge you to be at your most creative. Have fun, be funny. Being a woman is awesome because no one questions your sexuality when you go for a pedicure. Being a woman is awesome because "girls night out" can be labeled a necessity, and might consist of opening a bottle (ok many bottles) of wine with your friends and talking for hours about your dogs, but also your relationships.

I'll list my favorite answers in a future blog post. Yes, men, you're welcome to send your answers, too, although I probably won't enter you in the contest. Unless you threaten to sue me for discrimination or something.

Just email me to enter the giveaway with Yummie Tummie in the subject line. I'll announce the winner this Friday!
