Because I know you want to learn more about Alexander Graham Bell

Did you know that on this day in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell received a patent for the telephone? Yeah. Now you know.

Guess what else?

Some people believe Bell stole the plan for the telephone from another inventor guy named Elisha Gray. People who love Bell say this is hogwash, but it's a pretty credible theory if you really look into it. My feeling is that "Alexander Graham Bell" is a much better phone-inventor name than "Elisha Gray," so let's just stick with the original.
