One more thing about the rug–don’t get a white one. Your baby might lob a bottle of grape juice over the crib rails and on to the rug–like you did.

Why did she give you grape juice in your crib?

I think a white rug in a baby’s room becomes art after about the third year. Think of it like you are buying a pallete for the baby years, then roll it up and save it. It’s like a scrapbook of kid goop!

was that wrong?

I say go with white…grape juice these days isn’t even grape colored…it’s clear!
And Justin was still rubbing poop into the carpet when I lived with him. I imagine that’s why you guys bought a house with all hard wood flooring.

A white rug will just make it easier to see where the child peed/pooped/vomited last so you can clean it up…you can also bleach white, which can come in very handy. Otherwise, go with some wild and crazy design so that any spits and spatters just blend in and you don’t have to worry about cleaning it up…isn’t that why you have dogs?

Grape juice is available in the white or purple-flavored varieties. I like the taste of purple grape juice better than white.

You don’t give babies or toddlers purple colored grape juice anymore…it’s like illegal now.
