Our trip unexpectedly ended a little early and we’re in Connecticut for now. I’ll have more to say about all that later, as well as pictures and stories from our other stops in Arizona and New Mexico. Just didn’t want you all to think I’d gone and abandoned ship. I’m totally into commitment.

Guess this means that you’ll do the southeastern part of the trip at a later time… perhaps some cold, snowy winter week off?
Glad you made it back safely, and hope all is okay.
If you have time before the holidays, try to find a copy of “Women’s Dairies of the Westward Journey” (by Lillian Schlissel) and compare the writings, of women who made the trip west 100+ years ago, to what you saw on your trip. Perhaps there’s an article in there.
