hey Tom,
I saw Duane Allman’s 1959 Les Paul that he used during the Fillmore concerts - the actual guitar. His name is spelled out on the back of it with old frets.

man, maybe we should’ve actually gone into the hall of fame that one time we visited Cleveland… Sounds cool.

Oh, geeze, wait until you get to the EMP (http://www.empsfm.org/index.asp) thousands of famous guitars and a SciFi museum!!! (it makes the actual artifacts at Cleveland look almost insignificant, and they only show about 10 percent of Paul Allen’s stuff in either catagory at one time!)In fact, there is even an entire guitar cathedral!

I totally dropped the ball on this one, guys. Not only could I have recommended at least 10 other things for you to do in Cleveland instead of the Rock Hall (not that the it isn’t pretty cool; probably not as cool as the EMP), but I was actually IN Cleveland when you were here and could’ve showed you around! I blew it. I lose my touch… At least you made it to Macedonia.
It’s an astoundingly great trip you’re on though! I’ll be reading as long as you’re writing. I recommend Madison, Wisconsin, Boise, Idaho, Austin, Texas, and Memphis, Tennessee. They have a pyramid there.
